The Japanese term “koi” refers to multicolored carp, also known as “swimming flowers.” Considered living jewels and symbols of perseverance and virtue, they are raised in ornamental ponds and revered as bringers of good luck and guarantors of success.
Koï is a tile-placement and strategy game in which you build the most harmonious koi pond possible. Shape your pond using 3D tiles for a stunning three-dimensional effect. Choose between meditating and working, and achieve objectives to win this satisfying game.
Players take turns drawing cards and placing tiles to expand their pond and populate it with koi carp. Each turn consists of two main actions:
Surrounding the koi with water and water lilies improves their well-being and, consequently, their victory points. Additionally, players can compete for objectives, which award extra victory points and bonuses to those who manage to claim them. At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins!
