Horreur à Arkham JCE is a narrative cooperative adventure game set in the world of H.P. Lovecraft. Players take on the role of Investigators who face supernatural dangers and monsters. Your goal is to foil international conspiracies and solve occult mysteries. This revised edition can be played solo or with up to 4 players, ages 14 and up, for games lasting approximately 1 to 2 hours.

Each game unfolds a part of the scenario in which you will have to make decisive choices, explore locations, discover clues, and defeat horrific creatures. To overcome these adversities, you will build your own deck of cards containing weapons, companions, items, and special abilities. Mobilize these limited resources to progress through the plot, investigate, and discover the outcome of the story!

Horreur à Arkham JCE: A constantly evolving game

This basic box set for Horreur à Arkham JCE contains everything you need to start your adventure. It includes Investigators from all walks of life, specializing in different fields: exploration, mysticism, combat, and science. These men and women will use all their willpower, intelligence, and agility to escape from the most perilous situations.

If you are a new player and are unfamiliar with deckbuilding, ready-to-play decks are provided in the learning booklet. With step-by-step explanations, this booklet makes it easy to get started with the game.

Your adventure consists of a complete campaign, The Brotherhood of Ashes. It is divided into three successive scenarios. With each victory, your Investigators gain experience. This allows you to upgrade your deck and include more powerful cards. But be careful, because knowing too much about the Mythos will slowly drive you mad!

Once the campaign is over, you can restart the scenarios and adjust the difficulty to a higher level. The game offers 4 different difficulty levels! You can also choose a new Investigator from the five available and develop a completely new strategy. The rules are clearly explained in the booklet.

This new version of Horreur à Arkham JCE contains enough cards and accessories to play with 4 players right out of the box. The included campaign, The Brotherhood of Ashes, is a brand new campaign. All the components in this box are compatible with the previous edition: continue the adventure with the rest of the range!
