Playin has been specialising in trading card games, board games, single cards and accessories since 2008.
Whether you're looking for Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Lorcana, Altered, One Piece or Flesh and Blood; or the best board games of the year: you've come to the right place!
Based in Paris, we have shops in Paris, Annecy and Marseille and an online sales platform. All in all, we have more than 70 people at the service of our gamers.
Created in 2008, Playin was initially the brainchild of two enthusiasts: Loïs Jacquet and Stéphane Tichadou, players of the famous card game Magic: the Gathering.
They wanted to create a shop dedicated to their favourite game.
So they decided to open a gaming space and a website selling cards, called Magic Bazar.
In just a few years, Magic Bazar has become the French leader in everything to do with Magic:
Organisation of tournaments of all sizes (from 6 to 2,000 players).
Europe's largest stock of Magic cards, from the most common cards to the legendary Black Lotus.
A card buy-back and resale service for individuals.
Regular content: advice, top tips, videos, information on new products and the latest releases.
In 2020, Magic Bazar, which does much more than Magic, will become Playin.
We're still the No. 1 Magic specialist in France! And a whole host of other games have been added.
First of all the Japanese phenomenon Yu-Gi-Oh!, then the unmissable Pokémon.
The Lorcana craze, the highly innovative Altered, and also One Piece, Flesh and Blood and Sorcery.
And then there are the board games!
Puzzles, board games, role-playing games, miniatures, strategy games, atmospheric games, drawing games, investigation games...
Since 2015, games have had as much space at Playin as cards: Mysterium, Time's Up, Codenames or the Werewolves of Thiercelieux ... and so many others.
We are now a major player in the board games market. Our aim? To help you find THE game that's right for you.

When Magic Bazar started to grow, Loïs and Stéphane quickly realised that they needed to surround themselves with people who were as committed as they were if they were to succeed.

Our shops have always been a place where gamers come together to play and share their passion.
Our 80-seat Games Bar on the 1st floor of our Paris shop (131 Avenue de France) is open to everyone, regardless of skill level. We organise both competitive events with major prizes to be won and free introductory sessions to welcome new players.
In our bar, you'll find hundreds of self-service board games, and our entertainers will be happy to advise you, or even explain the rules of the games to you. You can also take advantage of our menu: non-alcoholic drinks, draught and bottled beers, etc.
