Lucioles

Lucioles: A Magical Epic to Experience as a Duo

An ominous shadow has fallen over Millebois. Separated in the heart of hostile lands, will Nori and Tan manage to save the Heart Tree?

Lucioles is a cooperative, narrative game that immerses you in the epic tale of Nori and Tan. Each player explores their own interactive comic book, but only your partner knows what’s hidden on your game board: by guiding each other, you’ll traverse dangerous and magical landscapes. Meet numerous characters, complete grand quests, and make choices that will change the course of the story.

How do you play Lucioles?

Your partner secretly looks at the map of your region. On your turn, place a firefly next to your character or next to a firefly already in play. Your partner reveals what’s hidden in that space—either a nest that yields new fireflies or a scene to read from your booklet. You’re not allowed to indicate a specific position or direction: you can only guide your partner using the game’s mechanics. However, feel free to share your scenes, objects, and ideas. Achieve the chapter’s objective to win, but be careful: if all 5 “Twilight” cards accumulate in the reserve, darkness will engulf Nori and Tan.
