Kumata: Dominoes Take on a New Dimension!

Kumata is a tile-placement game where you stack dominoes to help your animal clan gain the upper hand. Like in dominoes, you try to match identical values. But in Kumata, the tiles are placed on top of each other: you can only place a tile on tiles with the same values! Thanks to the double-sided tiles, you can face off in a duel or with up to 4 players to determine who is the king of the jungle!

How to Play Kumata?

In Kumata, you try to have the most victory points for your clan visible at the end of the game. On your turn, place one of your clan's tiles onto the central board. To place a tile, the numbers on both halves must cover identical numbers.

The half-tiles with no value are wild cards: they can cover or be covered by any number. Your clan's totem can be placed at the end of your turn on the tile played that turn: no one else can cover that tile, and the totem will earn you bonus points equal to the tile's height at the end of the game.

The game ends when a player has played all their tiles or is blocked. Then, count the visible (uncovered) numbers on your clan's tiles, both in play and in front of you. If you have the highest total, you win the game.
