Alhambra – Revised Edition – Big Box is an enhanced version of Alhambra – Big Box, the classic tile-placement and majority-control game. Players must construct the most magnificent Alhambra to stand the test of time. It plays from 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up, with games lasting around 45 to 60 minutes.

Pay for your buildings down to the last ruby

The greatest architects have been summoned to present their plans for the Alhambra of Granada. Will you succeed in imposing your unique style?

Each turn, choose whether to take one Money card, several whose total value does not exceed 5, or to build. When you build, spend Money cards matching one of the market colors to meet or exceed the value of the building there, then add it to your Alhambra. Extend your outer walls and secure majorities in building types to prepare for scoring. If you pay the exact value of a building, you get another turn! If you cannot place a purchased building, keep it in your reserve. On your turn, you may also forgo drawing to reorganize your Alhambra, moving buildings to or from your reserve. When a Scoring card appears, score points based on the round and the majorities you hold in each building type, as well as the length of your continuous outer wall. After the third scoring phase, award the remaining buildings and tally up your points. The most accomplished architect wins!
