In Tolleno, you take part in the rise of a Mediterranean city in full expansion. By placing City tiles, you shape new districts and raise your Floor pieces to control key areas. The canals, navigated by your boat, open up new ways to block or outmaneuver your opponents. Between city expansion, ambitious constructions, and varied objectives through Contract tiles, every decision brings your guild closer to glory and shapes the destiny of Tolleno. The game offers two rule sets: a standard version for ages 10 and up, and a family version playable from age 8.

How to play Tolleno?

In Tolleno, you aim to score the most victory points by building a city. On your turn, you perform five actions that drive the game. You start by expanding the city with new tiles. Then you can build by stacking your Floor pieces to gain control over a tile. Next come the Contract tiles, which can be played to gain alternative objectives and immediate victory points. You may then move your boat along the canals to reposition your Floor pieces or block your rivals. Finally, you draw a City tile to prepare for your next turn. The game ends when one player has placed their last Floor piece, triggering the final scoring to determine the winner. The simplified family version removes certain steps, making games more accessible.
