How to play Carcassonne – Ponts & Châteaux?

Ponts & Châteaux is an expansion for Carcassonne. It requires the base game to be played and is compatible with all other Carcassonne expansions. In addition to the classic rules, it introduces three new elements. Bridges let you continue your roads across fields. Castles are built in completed small cities, rewarding you with points thanks to noble ladies. Finally, by placing a barn in a field, you grant extra points to your farmers, making that field even more profitable.
