How to play Rebirth

Rebirth is a strategic tile-laying game designed by Reiner Knizia. Each player takes on the role of a clan leader seeking to leave their mark on a world under reconstruction.

• Setup: Each player receives a personal supply of tiles representing different types of constructions (castles, cities, energy farms, roads, etc.). The chosen board (Scotland or Ireland) presents a map divided into regions with unique constraints.
• Gameplay: On your turn, you draw a tile from your supply and place it on the board. Placement is crucial: tiles must follow specific building rules, and their position can block or benefit your opponents.
• Territory control: Castles, symbols of prestige, are key strategic points to secure. By connecting and expanding your territories around them, you increase both your influence and your score.
• Optimization and anticipation: Every tile placed has a lasting impact. You must plan ahead while adapting to your opponents’ choices. Limited resources and restricted space on the board heighten the tension.
• End of the game: The game ends when all tiles have been placed. Players then score points based on their territories, control of castles, and the synergies created between their various constructions.
