Le Dilemme de la Reine builds on the experience of The King’s Dilemma—a nominee for the As d’Or award—with a narrative campaign featuring innovative mechanics. You play as one of six advisors, each with their own Journal, regions, and backstory. Debate, negotiate, and vote: every decision the Council makes leaves a lasting mark on both the kingdom and your destiny.

How do you play Le Dilemme de la Reine?

Each round, a Dilemma card presents you with a political, economic, or moral choice. Discuss freely, strike deals in exchange for resources, then place your Power tokens on either the YES-DA or NENNI side. The more powerful side wins, and its Leader may personally face the consequences. You can also pass to regain Power, become a Moderator, or use a special ability. Votes shift three ideological axes (Tradition and Progress, Strength and Diplomacy, Order and Freedom), which you try to steer according to your secret Ideology card. As the game progresses, accomplish your personal objectives, develop your regions, and increase your Hegemony and Independence while limiting your Infamy.
