Emperor Frederick II of Hohenstaufen was a visionary known as Stupor Mundi, the Wonder of the World. Serve him, support his visionary reign, and cover yourself in glory!

A game is played in successive rounds, each consisting of two phases. During the Action Phase, travel and play action cards. This allows you to advance your specialists to improve your territory, buy and sell resources, build towers, walls, and dungeons on your board, summon the Emperor’s allies to benefit from their abilities, or acquire advanced cards to enhance your future actions. Certain actions may trigger the issuance of Decrees, which enrich Frederick II, thereby increasing the effectiveness of your allies! The game ends when a player has completed their castle, when a decree cannot be enforced, or when you have exhausted the Advanced Actions. Calculate your score based on the progress of your castle, your construction majorities, and your overall wealth. The highest score wins!
