À la Gloire d'Odin: Management, Development, and Nordic Strategy

À la Gloire d'Odin is a strategy game by Uwe Rosenberg (Agricola, Caverna...) that places you at the head of a Viking people. Your quest is this: to bring an era of prosperity to your subjects! To achieve this, you must skillfully position your Vikings on the game board to carry out the indicated action:

• Hunt wild animals,
• Gather raw materials,
• Trade your resources for manufactured goods,
• Develop your crafts,
• Explore unknown lands,
• Organize a raid,
• Expand your influence.

At the end of the game, you earn points based on your possessions:

• For your ships, some are worth more if used for migration or exploring new territories.
• Huts and houses earn points based on their sturdiness.
• You also evaluate the value of your livestock, in addition to the money in your treasury and the territories you occupy.
