Fascinated by the ocean and the sea creatures she’s studied in books, Barbouille dreams of boarding her grandfather’s boat to set off on an adventure. To move forward in the story, you examine the cards that make up the landscape and match the visible half-symbols using the Barbouille token. Each correct match reveals new cards that expand the landscape and offer new clues to explore. With no screen, no text, and no app, this cooperative mystery game is designed for young children as young as preschool age.

How do you play Mon Premier Unlock! - Histoires de Grenouille?

Choose one of the three adventures: Barbouille to the Rescue, Barbouille on Desert Island, or Barbouille and the Pirate’s Treasure. Work together to complete the missions in order to advance the story. At each stage, spot the clues hidden in the scenery and move the Barbouille token to reveal the next part of the adventure. The game ends when all missions are completed: since this is a cooperative game, you all win together by guiding Barbouille to the end of his journey!
