Paranoia is a dystopian science-fiction role-playing game with a dark sense of humor. In this game that turns the conventions of role-playing on their head, you play Clarifiers, whose job is to find problems and “clarify” them—usually with a laser. Your targets? Those with mutant powers and any member of a banned secret society. The problem? Your character is secretly a mutant who belongs to a secret society... and so are the other players! Here, the mission is secondary and cooperation is short-lived: betray your friends before they do the same to you! If you want a role-playing game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and offers fast-paced, hilarious situations, Paranoia is for you.
