Epic Melee: Enter the Arena!

Epic Melee is a card game where your champions battle in the arena. Choose wisely which of your two champions goes into combat and which returns to your hand for the next turn. In each round of combat, use the special powers of your knight champions, summoning frogs, exploding goblins, and more to gain the upper hand. This game emphasizes cunning, bluffing, and strategy in fast-paced, action-packed matches.

How to play Epic Melee?

The game consists of 6 rounds of combat. During a round:

• Each player simultaneously chooses two cards from their hand and places them face down side by side in front of them.
• Each player simultaneously reveals the rightmost card of these two cards.
• The player with the initiative token chooses which card to use in combat from their two cards. The other card returns to their hand.
• After playing their card, they pass the initiative token to an opponent who hasn't yet played: it will be their turn to play a card in combat.
• Once everyone has played a card, compare their values: the highest card earns a Gold Loot, and the second highest a Silver Loot.

During combat, the special effects of different cards can change the course of the game. At the end of the 6th combat round, the game ends, and the Gold and Silver Loot points are tallied to determine the winner.
