Sorcery: Contested Realm is a trading card game with a retro feel and a modern gameplay system. Available only in English, it made quite an impression by raising over 3 million euros through a crowdfunding campaign. Its old-school style is brought to life through stunning, fully hand-painted illustrations.

In Sorcery: Contested Realm, you play with two different decks. Your Atlas consists of at least 30 cards and contains the sites that provide the resources you need to play your cards. Your spellbook holds a minimum of 60 cards and contains the spells you’ll cast during the game.

The main play area in Sorcery: Contested Realm makes its gameplay truly unique. It’s a rectangle made up of 4 rows and 5 columns, 20 squares in total, shared and contested by both players. These spaces host the sites you play, and your units can move across them. Use clever strategy to claim these zones and secure victory!

Gothic is the second standalone expansion for Sorcery: Contested Realm. It introduces over 440 brand-new cards, including 13 new avatars, allowing players to strengthen their decks and craft new epic stories.
