This is a standalone game and does not require any other title from the series.

How to play DC Comics Deck-Building - Injustice

As in other games in the series, you’ll build your deck throughout the game to strengthen your attacks and counter your opponents. But this time, the tension is even higher: each player has a Power Meter that can be charged to unleash unique Super Moves tied to their character. Your goal is to reduce your opponents’ health to zero and knock them out, though they’ll soon return to the fight!
Three modes bring even more variety: the Classic Mode for fast-paced duels; the Advanced Mode, featuring Arena cards that introduce iconic DC locations with special bonuses; and the Impossible Mode, where Clash cards trigger unexpected attacks and KO tokens impose extra penalties when your health hits zero.
