Codenames Images – Experience the classic word-association and deduction game in pictures!

In Codenames Images, two elite teams of spies compete to uncover the secret identities of their undercover agents. But this time, forget about words — the hidden identities lie behind enigmatic illustrations. At the head of each team, a spymaster holds the key: they are the only one who knows which images belong to their agents, hidden behind mysterious codenames. Their goal? To guide their teammates with clever clues — without saying too much… or accidentally revealing an opposing agent, an innocent bystander, or worse: the assassin!

One word, one number, and connections between images to find — in Codenames Images, everything depends on team synergy, deduction, and visual association.

How to play Codenames Images?

The rules remain true to the original Codenames, but the cards are replaced with interpretable pictures open to multiple meanings. Each turn, the spymaster gives a one-word clue followed by a number, indicating how many images are connected to that clue (e.g., “Animals 3”). Their team must then:

• point to one of the image cards on the table,
• continue guessing if they reveal a friendly agent,
• stop if they make a mistake… or lose immediately if they uncover the assassin!

The first team to identify all their agents wins the game.
