In Cicéron, you send your servants to recruit senators, maneuver within the city guilds, and support or oppose the ambitions of the Triumvirate. Intrigues, alliances, and betrayals drive each round, where the pursuit of prestige is your only goal. In Rome, offices are highly coveted, and only the most skillful strategist will taste the greatest glory.

How to Play Cicéron?

A game of Cicéron is played over 4 or 5 rounds depending on the number of players. Each round follows a precise structure: you begin by electing the Princeps, then reveal Cicero’s plea. Next, you gain influence, place your servants, and trigger actions to strengthen your support. You must also pay the tribute demanded by Cicero and the Triumvirate before proceeding to the influence scoring in the Senate and the guilds. Senators and political allies rallied to your cause, as well as certain activated cards, will earn you Prestige points. But beware of rival families: assassinations, broken alliances, and sudden power plays can shift the balance. At the end of the final round, the most prestigious family seizes control of Rome.
