Gather your evidence, question the witnesses, and build a solid case, because in court, the truth belongs to the most convincing team!

How do you play Plaidoirie 1936 - La Trilogie Noire?

Teams take turns choosing their evidence, revealing some and keeping others secret: each side thus builds its case based on different information. During the testimony phase, secretly choose which pieces of evidence to present to each witness, then reveal your choices simultaneously. Use your limited opportunities to object wisely—to force your opponent to change their question or to press a witness for an additional answer. Once all witnesses have been heard, organize the evidence and testimony into a coherent narrative that anticipates the opposing team’s arguments. A speaker from each team then delivers their closing argument, which is evaluated by the opposing team based on key points specific to the case. Each point addressed earns victory points: the team with the highest score wins the trial.
