Dive into the world of this cult-classic manga with a game of bluffing and hidden roles that pits L’s team against Kira’s. Each side tries to get a decisive card to its leader, but no one really knows who’s who: Kira could very well be posing as L to get his hands on the Death Note. Observe, throw people off the trail, and trust no one!

How do you play Death Note Shinigami?

At the start of the game, each player secretly receives a “True Identity” card, followed by two randomly dealt “Item” cards—among which are the Death Note and the “Arrest” card. The remaining “Item” cards form the draw pile. On your turn, draw a card and then play one of the three cards in your hand, using their abilities to pass the items around. L’s team wins if the “Arrest” card reaches L and allows him to reveal Kira’s true identity. Kira’s team wins if Kira retrieves the Death Note and uses it to eliminate L without being exposed.
