Faced with questions whose answers are always numbers (distances, unusual records, improbable durations), each player tries to sound credible while pushing their estimates higher and higher. The trick is to sense the exact moment when an opponent goes over the correct answer—without falling into the trap yourself.

How do you play Là t’abuses 2 ouf?

A question is read aloud, and the first player suggests a number they estimate to be close to the correct answer, without exceeding it. On their turn, each player must either announce a number higher than the previous player’s or issue a challenge by shouting “Là t’abuses!” if they think the previous estimate is too high. The answer is then revealed: if the challenged player did indeed overestimate, they keep the question card as a penalty. Otherwise, the player who issued the challenge keeps it. As soon as a player has accumulated a certain number of cards, the game ends: the player with the most cards loses, and all the other players win!
