Tropichaos: The Rush for Fruit Before Prices Crash!

In Tropichaos, you play as fruit vendors facing completely chaotic seasons. On your turn, you have two options: buy or sell. To buy, draw a Fruit token from the three available at the market, then replenish the selection by drawing a new token from the bag. If three identical tokens are displayed, you must replace one with a fruit from your reserve and take a Penalty token as punishment! And if a Season token is drawn from the bag, the marker moves forward one space on the season track, and you draw another token immediately.

How to Play Tropichaos?

To sell, place the Fruit tokens you wish to sell in front of the colored area corresponding to the current season on your display stand. The number of tokens in your reserve determines what you can sell: if it’s an odd number, you must sell everything at once; if it’s an even number, you choose to sell all or only half of your stock. And as soon as you reach five tokens, selling becomes mandatory: you can’t buy any more! The game ends as soon as the season marker reaches the last space on the board. Each fruit is then worth a different number of points depending on the season in which it was sold: the merchant who’s best at seizing the right moment wins the game!
