Star Trek: Space Hunt is a hidden-movement team game that uses the Captain Sonar game system. Players are divided into two opposing crews: the Federation or the Opponents. Each side must cooperate and strategize to shoot down the opposing ship first! The challenge: the enemy’s location is hidden behind a screen. Players must use deduction to find the opponent’s position without revealing their own.
In each crew, there are two roles to play:
Each crew commands one of the iconic starships from throughout the franchise’s history, each with unique characteristics that enable asymmetrical gameplay. The game spans several generations of the saga, allowing players to take on the roles of legendary Star Trek duos such as Captain Kirk and Spock, Captain Picard and Data, or even the formidable Khan and Joachim.
