The PCs are hired to accompany a unique group of pilgrims. To be accepted into a school of magic, these pilgrims must first appear before anyone they may have wronged in their past lives, offer reparations, and ask for forgiveness—without speaking to them. Thus, the PCs find themselves serving as both bodyguards and mediators for two aspiring mages.
