Innovation is a card and strategy game in which you guide your civilization from prehistory to the 21st century. This Ultimate Edition invites you to discover this classic in its most complete form. In addition to the base game, you’ll find all the game’s expansions, as well as the new Age 11, for a total of 750 Innovation cards! The basic rules are easy to learn, and the game’s complexity stems from the endless possible interactions between the cards and their abilities. How to Play Innovation?

Each turn, you perform two actions of your choice from among four: Draw, Play a Card, Activate a Card, or Claim a Feat. The cards you play are grouped into colored stacks, and only the top card is active—unless you deploy the stack, revealing icons that can help with your actions or defend against your opponents. The activation action allows you to use the effect of a card in play, and your opponents who have the corresponding icon in play can also benefit from it. At the end of the activation, you draw a card for free if an effect was shared. Claiming a Feat requires having a card of a specific age on your board and a total score equal to at least five times that age. A game ends either when a player has enough Feats, or when a card with an age greater than 10 is drawn: in this case, the score determines the winner.
