Liberation is a strategy and deck-building game pitting the forces of the occupation against the resistance during World War II. The game features an asymmetrical experience: the Occupier has vast resources but must face a united resistance. Liberation can be played as a campaign or in individual scenarios, with solo, duel, cooperative, and all-against-one modes.
June 18, 1940: German troops march down the Champs-Élysées. In Liberation, you play as a resistance fighter who will build a group of fighters to confront the occupier. Recruit your agents, build your network to carry out missions, thwart the police and collaborationist forces, and mobilize the population. Across 5 scenarios, forge the victory that will allow France to rise again and lay the foundations for a new society. Be warned, the path will be fraught with danger; you will lose comrades, face defeats, and encounter betrayals. Will you be able to complete the required missions, defeat the police and military apparatus, avoid capture, and score the victory points essential for the final battle: the liberation of Paris?
