Poum Poum Crounch: Turn into a bear!

Poum Poum Crounch is a game of observation and speed in which you must collect mushrooms before the bear arrives! Make your way through the forest to find the precious mushrooms, but watch out! If you draw the 3rd bear card, you turn into a bear and must grab your spoon as quickly as possible to devour all the mushrooms!

How to play Poum Poum Crounch?

The goal of the game is to collect as many mushrooms as possible. Setup: Place the three spoons in a spot far from the table so that it takes about 20 seconds to run and fetch one.

Each round begins with the chant “Poum Poum Crounch.” When you say “crounch,” everyone raises zero, one, or two thumbs. The total number of thumbs raised determines how many seats around the table you move the deck of cards forward. The person who retrieved the deck flips over the top card and places it face up in the center of the table.

If you add a third card with a bear to the center of the table, you turn into a bear! Go get a spoon as fast as you can. Meanwhile, your opponents roll their dice: every time they roll the mushroom side, they take a mushroom card from the center of the table. As soon as the bear returns with his spoon, he collects all the remaining mushrooms from the center of the table.

Keep playing until all 9 bear cards have been played: the player with the most mushrooms wins the game!
