L'Encyclopédie des Monstres is a cooperative memory game in which you set out to discover legendary monsters and creatures from around the world. Team up and use your memory to find all the monsters! Travel across 5 continents and explore 15 countries to learn more about their cultures and legendary creatures.

How to Play L'Encyclopédie des Monstres?

The goal of the game is to work together to find all the Monster tokens that match your cards. On your turn, play a card from your hand and find a matching token among the face-down tokens in the center of the table.

• If the token you flip over matches the card you played, it’s a success! Leave it face up on the table. If all players’ cards are on the table, you all win the game!
• If the token doesn’t match the card played, it’s a failure! Flip all Monster tokens face down and take all the cards you’ve placed back into your hand. Then flip a candle to its unlit side: if it was the last lit candle, you’ve lost the game!

Each monster has its own special rule that usually lets you get information about the tokens. But be careful—some monsters will make your task more difficult!
