Le Seigneur des Anneaux - La Confrontation is a strategy and bluffing game for 2 players in which you play as the Fellowship of the Ring or Sauron's Armies in the struggle between good and evil. Secretly advance your characters and fight your way through Middle-earth. The Fellowship must get Frodo to Mordor, while Sauron tries to eliminate him! This classic board game brings J.R.R. Tolkien's work to life in an accessible and strategic duel.

How to play Le Seigneur des Anneaux - La Confrontation

At the start of the game, choose your side: the Fellowship of the Ring or the Armies of Sauron. Secretly place your Character tiles on your half of the board so that they are face up for you and face down for your opponent.

On your turn, move a Character tile one space forward. If an opposing character is on that space, the two characters fight! Each player plays a Combat card from their hand and resolves the characters' effects. The character with the highest strength eliminates the other, removing them from the game.

The game ends when one of the following conditions is met:

• If Frodo reaches Mordor, the Fellowship of the Ring wins the game.
• If Frodo is killed or if 3 characters from the evil side reach the Shire, Sauron wins the game.
