Ratak: Attack, parry, counter-attack!

Ratak is a card game of bluffing where you try to get rid of your cards before the others! Attack, parry, and counter-attack to try and get rid of your cards. Keep the right cards in hand for the opportune moment, and form alliances to multiply your attacks. The last player with cards becomes "the Ratak," the laughingstock of the kingdom!

How to play Ratak?

In Ratak, you must get rid of your cards before the others. The last player with cards in hand loses the game.

On your turn, attack an opponent: play a face-up card from your hand in front of them. The targeted opponent can, if they wish, beat your card by playing a higher-ranking card of the same suit, or a trump card. Continue the attack: if the defender has chosen to defend, any player can add a card to the attack. To do this, you must play a card already in play. If the defender manages to defend against this new attack, the attack can continue, following the same rule. At the end of an attack:

• If the defender has beaten all the attacking cards, all the cards in play are discarded.
• If the defender cannot or does not want to beat all the cards, they must add all the cards in play to their hand.

In both cases, the defender becomes the new attacker.
