Master Makatsu: Be the sneakiest ninja!

In Master Makatsu, you must prove your ninja skills by demonstrating discretion and timing! Play your cards at the right moment to avoid having the highest card and incurring penalties. Choose carefully which cards you play, but also which ones you don't play: the cards you set aside will return to your deck in the next phases of the game. Only the most strategic and discreet ninja will prove their worth to Master Makatsu!

How to play Master Makatsu?

The goal of the game is to collect as few penalty tokens as possible. The game is played in three phases, each consisting of several rounds. During a round, each player plays two of the four ninja cards in their hand. You then compare the value of the ninjas: the player who played the highest ninja in each color takes a penalty token. The two unused cards in each round are set aside: in the next phases of the game, you will have to play with these cards! It is therefore important to play your cards at the right time to keep your strength for the next rounds. When all phases have been played, count the penalties on your tokens: the player with the lowest score wins the game.
