Pirate King is a push-your-luck and deckbuilding game where you play daring pirates seeking glory and treasure. Each round challenges you to decide whether to keep revealing cards to boost your rewards, or stop before a third curse sends you straight to the bottom of the sea. It’s a fast, fun and suspenseful pirate-themed experience.

How to play Pirate King

Each player chooses a captain and a starting deck of 8 cards. The Monster and Loot decks are placed in the center. A game lasts 7 rounds, each divided into five phases:

• Preparation: Reveal 2 Monster cards and as many Loot cards as there are players.
• Exploration (push-your-luck): All players simultaneously reveal cards from their deck. You may stop at any time to secure your visible gold and swords. But beware: revealing a third curse before stopping makes you lose all your gains for the round.
• Battle: The two players with the most swords each choose a Monster card to fight.
• Loot Sharing: Remaining players pick one Loot card to add to their discard pile, starting with the richest.
• End of Round: Discard all revealed cards, then reshuffle if your deck is empty.

After 7 rounds, the player with the most crowns becomes the Pirate King or Queen.
