Akropolis – Pantheon: unite your forces to build the greatest ancient city!

Pantheon is a cooperative expansion for the tile-placement game Akropolis. Once rivals, your ancient cities now join forces to erect a grand capital and honor the gods. Together, you must coordinate your efforts to achieve the highest collective score while facing Architectural Challenges unique to each scenario. Three campaigns — Corinth, Sparta, and Athens — offer increasing levels of difficulty and new ways to score points through Divine Altars dedicated to Hestia, Hermes, Ares, Zeus, or Demeter. Teamwork, planning, and resource management are the keys to success.

How to play Akropolis – Pantheon?

Each game begins by choosing a Scenario that sets the objectives and difficulty level. You receive a starting tile, two Stone cubes, and three City tiles in hand. On your turn, you may either expand your personal city to complete an Architectural Challenge, or contribute to the construction of the shared Capital by placing a tile in the center of the play area. Every completed Challenge allows you to build a Divine Altar, which is essential for scoring at the end of the game. Once all tiles have been played, only the Capital districts adorned with an Altar earn points, which are then compared to the Scenario’s target score.
