Erune – Ultimate Edition: a new kind of Dungeon Crawler

Dive into the ultimate adventure! Erune – Ultimate Edition is the revised and enhanced version of the acclaimed Erune board game, a Dungeon Crawler inspired by the greatest heroic fantasy worlds. Guided by the Spirit of Erune app, your group will explore dark dungeons filled with danger, treasures, and unexpected encounters. This Ultimate Edition includes everything you need for a fully immersive journey through an interactive fantasy world. Each game lasts around 30 minutes per player, for 1 to 5 adventurers aged 14 and up. Three game modes are available: solo or co-op against the AI-controlled enemies via the app, or one versus all, where one player takes on the role of the fearsome Master of Shadows, hidden behind their screen.

How to play Erune – Ultimate Edition

To win the game, your team must complete its quest objectives! Each game unfolds through three main phases that repeat until the quest ends:

• Adventurer Phase: move through the dungeon, fight enemies, search for loot, and use your items to progress.
• Spirit of Erune Phase: the app reveals narrative events and manages interactions such as discoveries, traps, and encounters.
• Master of Shadows Phase: this player controls the enemies, moves their monsters, launches attacks, and casts curses to hinder the heroes’ advance.

The base box includes four iconic heroes: the Warrior, strong and fearsome in close combat; the Guardian, a dwarf protector who can avoid traps; the Archer, agile and attuned to the magic of nature; and the Witch, fragile yet powerful thanks to her mastery of Arcane magic. The Spirit of Erune, an omniscient vocal entity, guides the story, answers questions, tracks levels and objectives, and drives the campaign forward with each quest.
