How to Play Dungeons & Dragons – Heroes of the Borderlands

In Heroes of the Borderlands, you and your friends take on the roles of adventurers exploring wild and mysterious lands. Before starting, assign the roles: one player becomes the Dungeon Master, the storyteller and guide who leads the session using the included tools and aids. Each other player creates their own unique character by choosing a class (Cleric, Wizard, Rogue, or Fighter) and making decisions that shape the course of the game. The adventure unfolds through three gameplay modes: Combat, Exploration, and Roleplay. During Combat, you’ll roll dice to battle monsters and enemies; in Exploration, you’ll reveal new locations and uncover hidden secrets; and during Roleplay, your choices, alliances, and conversations drive the unfolding story.
