In Butterfly Effect - Alter Ego, you’ll progress through a branching cooperative story. Use your Action tokens to perform Actions and advance from one Era to the next, each offering new temporal or geographical challenges. Your collective choices shape the unfolding narrative: some lead to breakthroughs, others to death. Yet even failure has its value — it increases your Knowledge, a key resource that helps you progress through the time loop. The adventure continues until you reach one of seven possible endings, each revealing a different side of William Brown.
