In Les Derniers Droïdes, you play as Ecomécanos, craftsmen of a future where natural resources have become scarce. Your role is to bring abandoned robots back to life, remnants of a bygone world, in order to ensure humanity’s survival. Every wreck you salvage, every part you recycle, and every droid you repair brings you closer to the prestigious Order of the Leaf medal. In this game with a strong ecological theme, survival depends on your choices and your ability to plan ahead.
In Les Derniers Droïdes, your goal is to score as many recycling points as possible before the game ends. On your turn, draw two Droid cards: keep one and give the other to an opponent. With the chosen droid, three actions are possible: recycle it to gain resources for future constructions, repair it to add it to your collection and benefit from its abilities, or use it for the construction of a house Droid, which will score points based on specific conditions. All players resolve their actions simultaneously, keeping the pace dynamic and competitive. The game ends after three rounds or when all dwellings are built. Depending on the number of players, different modes are available: a solo mode against automata, a competitive mode for 2 or 3 players, and a 2 versus 2 team mode for 4 players.
