How to play Le Château Blanc – Duel?

A game is played over 12 turns. During the first half of the turns, you place your Lamp tokens on the shared board to trigger actions. In the second half, you retrieve those Lamp tokens, which activates new effects. Your placement choices allow you to perform various actions: you can purchase and upgrade Influence cards, place clan seals on gardens and training grounds, move your courtier across the circles of influence, or trade with the Portuguese. These actions earn you icons – flags, katanas, kabutos, and origami figures – that score points. Choose the right strategy to maximize multipliers from your collected icons. Specialize, block your opponent on the board, and build an efficient action engine to score the most points and claim victory.
