Play as Heroes attempting to protect the city and inhabitants of Waterdeep from a monstrous invasion. Choose which opponents to face each game, from among iconic D&D monsters like the Beholder, the Mimic, the Eclipsing Beast, or the fearsome Red Dragon! Will you manage to save the world before terror overwhelms you?

How to play Horrified - Dungeons & Dragons?

Choose your heroes and the combination of monsters you will face. Each turn, you have a number of actions depending on the hero you are playing. You can move from place to place, guide citizens to safety, collect items from your location, or trade items with other Heroes. In addition, you can perform actions unique to your Hero or specific to rituals to banish the monsters you face. Grow in power to become more effective, but beware of the monsters, who can crush your hopes! After you, roll the dice and activate the monsters! Some faces grant them many actions, others fewer, and the Frenzy die can unleash terrifying actions! Each time a hero or citizen falls, the fear level increases. Complete all the banishment steps, then lure the monsters to the appropriate locations to confront them one last time and save the city! But be quick, if the fear level reaches its peak, the game is lost!
