PIFO Monde: Put the countries of the world in order

PIFO Monde is a general knowledge game that asks you to put countries in the right order according to different criteria. Travel through 152 countries (France, Argentina, Japan, etc.) across 6 categories (such as size in km² or number of inhabitants). Don't know the answer? Bluff! It will be up to the next player to accept your answer or say “PIFO” if they think you're wrong. An original general knowledge game that requires you to know everything about geography... or at least appear to!

How to play PIFO Monde?

In PIFO Monde, you try to get rid of all your Country cards first.

On your turn, add one of your cards to the frieze in the center of the table. The goal is to place it in ascending order relative to the other Country cards, according to a criterion drawn at the beginning of the round (for example, position from north to south). Once you have placed your card, the next player can either accept the order of the cards, in which case they add a Country card to the frieze, or challenge the order of the cards by announcing “PIFO!” When this happens, all the cards are turned over: the player who made the mistake draws two Country cards.
