You take on the role of an Illumineer, able to wield magical inks and the power of Lorcana to bring famous Disney characters to life as reflections. Some of these characters appear as you know them, while others take on fantastically re-imagined forms.

It's time to celebrate in the enchanted kingdom of Lorcana! The Grand Illuminary is finally free from the grip of the Sea Witch Queen Ursula.

Illumineers and Disney characters organize a series of festivities featuring games and activities of all kinds, to the delight of everyone.

But the calm is short-lived on Lorcana, as pieces of the Great Illuminary begin to break off and fall not far from the crowd. The kingdom's inhabitants are about to face a new mystery!

Shimmering Skies is the 5th edition of Lorcana. It introduces 204 new cards to the game and marks the arrival in the Lorcana universe of the Disney animated feature films The Emperor's New Groove and Wreck-It Ralph.
