Odyssey takes place on the continent of Otaria, on the plane of Dominaria a century after the events of Invasion. Otaria stayed more or less far from the war opposing the Coalition to the Phyrexians. The story makes a focus on the character of Kamahl, a barbarian from the Pardic mountains and his quest to fin a mysterious artefact which appeared to him during his dreams called the Mirari. This artefact takes part of the Urza’s Legacy gathered by the members of the Weatherlight during the Invasion block to destroy the Phyrexian army. Then, there’s a serie of wars devastating Otaria because all of the factions of the continent tries to find the precious artefact to fulfill their personal desires.
